When mom can’t nourish them, Esbilac can. Scientifically the next best to mother’s milk, Esbilac provides all the nutritional elements necessary for puppies, newborn to six weeks old. Our formula is closest to mother's milk in protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Esbilac is highly palatable and formulated with a special fiber blend for easy digestion and improved gut health. Whisk or shake 1 part powdered Esbilac into 2 parts warm water. Do not mix more Esbilac than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Must be kept refrigerated after reconstituting.

Instructions
EASY-TO-MIX FORMULA - Whisk or shake 1 part powdered Esbilac into 2 parts warm water (a part may be a teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup). Do not mix more Esbilac than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Must be kept refrigerated after reconstituting. One 28 oz. can of powder makes approximately 140 oz. of liquid when mixed 1:2. Directions for Feeding: All puppies should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted Esbilac to room or body temperature before serving. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons of liquid Esbilac per 4 ounces of body weight daily. The daily feeding amount should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased depending on the individual. Young and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Weigh the puppies 3 times a week to ensure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice. The PetAg 2 oz. or 4 oz. Small Animal Nurser is suited for feeding most puppies. When puppies are old enough to lap, begin offering reconstituted Esbilac in a saucer. During the 5th week, mix reconstituted Esbilac with Esbilac 2nd Step Puppy Weaning Food. Use of the Esbilac and 2nd Step will allow the puppy to be gradually switched to solid food. Growing puppies already on solid food, show dogs, and/or convalescing dogs: Feed 1 teaspoon of Esbilac powder per 5 lbs. body weight by top dressing food.

This is an excellent milk replacement for puppies. I am fostering 2 malnourished puppies and this replacement has been exceptionally great for these two Littles. The puppy in the picture was given up on but we did not give up. This formula was the exact thing he needed. Nutrients! 😊

# 1 milk replacement for your fur baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best for nursing puppies that are having a hard time getting what they need to grow strong and healthy. I've used this brand several times and it has never let me down. Fresh sealed Packaging and a really great value. The milk replacement has a slight scent that smells like warm milk. I love this brand and your babies need all that you can do to help them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the dad but this went with the momma. The puppies didn't need bottles but this mixed up well and they lapped it like kittens. Would definitely recommend in an emergency situation. Luckily we did have that pressure.
