Ergodyne GloWear® 8293 Type R Class 2 Black Front Hooded Sweatshirt, Lime, 3XL

Now this is a sweatshirt! this is by far the best hi viz sweatshirt I own. the size is spot on and the material is comfortable easy to move around in and bright! when they say glow they really mean it. the hood is good size so it keeps your head and neck warm. the only thing I would say that could make this sweatshirt better would be a water repellant material so it would hold up in the snow and rain better than it does now. overall this sweatshirt is a nice addition to the hi viz collection and I would recommend it to others. One word, Awesome! Ok I'll expand a bit on that. The materials used for this hoodie are top notch. The interior is a very soft fleece, it feels likes wearing a warm blanket. The hood can be worn over your hard hat without pulling up the hoodie above your waist and limiting head movement. I waited to write this review until I had washed it several times. There are other types I have used where the stiching has come loose at the reflective stripes and color gets a bit dull, NOT THIS ONE. I have washed it a few times now after working in a coal plant and it looks brand new. It blocks the wind very well too. I work in Chicago so I can speak to gusty winds. It was in the 20's the other day. I had a base layer, t-shirt and my hoodie on and was comfy. The reflectivity is also outstanding. Much of our work is high traffic areas with large equipment including airplanes at Chicagos airports. I am comfortable knowing I will be seen. Bottom line great product, I am very happy with it.
