I LOVE this sweatshirt! It's been the proverbial "work horse" piece of gear for me at our MRF (materials recovery facility). The right balance of hi-visibility and black wear areas coupled with heat transferred reflective striping, NOT sewn! One of the downfalls to many safety apparel items is the stitching on the reflective striping, it's ordinarily the first to wear out and then they snag on everything. Even if your one to mend your apparel, it's the pits to do unless you'd like to hand sew several inches or more of it on a regular basis. Machine mending? Not much easier. The heat transfer striping is the next best thing to sliced bread in my opinion, and it makes this sweatshirt 10-fold more durable than it's sewn counterparts!Not much I'd change at all on this offering but if there were to be any additions, I'd appreciate a pen pocket on the sleeve! Now this is a sweatshirt! this is by far the best hi viz sweatshirt I own. the size is spot on and the material is comfortable easy to move around in and bright! when they say glow they really mean it. the hood is good size so it keeps your head and neck warm. the only thing I would say that could make this sweatshirt better would be a water repellant material so it would hold up in the snow and rain better than it does now. overall this sweatshirt is a nice addition to the hi viz collection and I would recommend it to others. One word, Awesome! Ok I'll expand a bit on that. The materials used for this hoodie are top notch. The interior is a very soft fleece, it feels likes wearing a warm blanket. The hood can be worn over your hard hat without pulling up the hoodie above your waist and limiting head movement. I waited to write this review until I had washed it several times. There are other types I have used where the stiching has come loose at the reflective stripes and color gets a bit dull, NOT THIS ONE. I have washed it a few times now after working in a coal plant and it looks brand new. It blocks the wind very well too. I work in Chicago so I can speak to gusty winds. It was in the 20's the other day. I had a base layer, t-shirt and my hoodie on and was comfy. The reflectivity is also outstanding. Much of our work is high traffic areas with large equipment including airplanes at Chicagos airports. I am comfortable knowing I will be seen. Bottom line great product, I am very happy with it.
