I've been using ERA since the 80's. It's great for clothes (regular) in that it doesn't fade garments. It is great in cold water washes and doesn't irritate my skin. As far as pre stain treatment, I believe it's the best or I would not use. I wish they would just restock it in stores. A no- brainer for 2025
