Equate Saline Nasal Mist Spray for Nasal Congestion, 4.5 fl oz, Compare to the Ingredients in Simply Saline™ Daily Care Nasal Mist

I started this while also starting a new metal can of the simply original brand saline. It is identical. For both the first few streams smell and taste like burned dust from furnace just started up in the winter, or the air near an old water heater. After the first few streams it is fine, no taste but saline itself. So, I will buy whichever costs less. When fresh the spray is much stronger than near the end of the can, and it works much better for me.

This spray is a perfect and much less expensive dupe of the name-brand version...I honestly can't tell a difference except for one thing: this one feels like I'm blasting my sinuses with a pressure washer. When my nose and sinuses feel like they've been living in the Artic Circle but also the Sahara somehow, a quick spray from this can blasts in like, 'THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS ARRIVED, MA'AM!' It's intense, but in a good way. My nose and sinuses go from brittle desert parchment back to a functioning breathing apparatus in about two seconds. Could not recommend more highly if your home or workplace loses so much humidity in the winter that you could dry age meat in it.
