Drink a full glass of water with each dose. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 4 to 8 tablets every 4 hours not to exceed 48 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Children under 12 years: do not use unless directed by a doctor.

REYE'S SYNDROME: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness. ALLERGY ALERT: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction, which may include:. ◼ hives. ◼ facial swelling. ◼ shock. ◼ asthma (wheezing). STOMACH BLEEDING WARNING: This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The chance is higher if you:. ◼ are age 60 or older. ◼ take more or for a longer time than directed. ◼ take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug. ◼ take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs [aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others]. ◼ have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems. ◼ have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product. DO NOT USE if you are allergic to aspirin or any other pain reliever/fever reducer. ASK A DOCTOR BEFORE USE IF. ◼ stomach bleeding warning applies to you. ◼ you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn. ◼ you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis or kidney disease. ◼ you have asthma. ◼ you are taking a diuretic. Equate low dose aspirin is a fine and effective product to use when my Cardiologist prescribed that I take a low dose aspirin every day as a way to address my cardio problem. In other words, "Dennis I want you to take it for the rest of your life." When you want to get a quality product at a significantly lower price than the big name brands, Equate is always my way to go. I have never been disatified, nor has my Cardiologist.

I'm sure the product is great. I was supposed to take after my surgery. I found out the hard way that I am allergic to aspirin. That's just me and doesn't reflect on the product. It was a great price for something I thought I needed. I still recommend unless you are allergic.

have been using the generic for years. husband requested a brand name eventhough i told him there was really no difference except for color %26 price. think i paid more for 2 months worth of brand than i did for our usual generic of at least 4 months worth. satisfied his curiosity..he asked for generic the next time. why dont men ever listen? why do they challenge our information?
