I have never used a neti pot before. I am constantly congested during winter, and I figured I may as well try this disgusting product. First impressions: You have a ton of little saline packets in here - more than I hope you'll ever have to use. You do need to use distilled water to mix in, but the squeezer (neti pot) has measuring lines on it so you know how much to add. The tip of the pot (the nasal part) is actually tucked on the under side of the cap, so I was a bit confused about how to assemble it for a moment - but nothing I couldn't figure out by looking at the picture on the box. I got it put together and went to the sink to use this. The angle of this little squeezer makes it really easy to get the water into your nose without getting it all over yourself. But it's just a nauseating experience no matter how you sell it. The water goes through your mouth and your other nostril, clearing everything out and leaving you with a mucus-laced saltwater taste. But that's what you want - is everything to be cleared out. I can't imagine you'd ever use all 240 ml of water that you put in there, but it's there if you need it. If you need a neti pot, this is a good option. Easy to clean, easy to use.

Great solution for winter 'dry nose' problems. This bottle is easier to hold and use than the traditional neti pot but does the same job. The instructions do say to use only filtered or distilled water, or boiled water (let it cool first so you don't burn yourself). It comes with 50 packets of saline (use 1-2 packets for each treatment). I use it while in the shower so it doesn't make as much of a mess. Using this has helped me a lot, I no longer wake up with a dry or stuffy nose, and I get fewer nosebleeds. Plus I haven't had a sinus infection since I started using it. Definitely worth having.
