Keep this box for complete instructions WARNINGS. DO NOT USE in a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your child's prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving this product. ASK A DOCTOR BEFORE USE IF THE CHILD HAS. ? persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma. ? cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Just as good as name brand
I use the Equate Children's Cough Cherry flavor liquid for my five kids (ages 6-10) and it is great at stopping those nagging coughs that just won't stop. I had never heard of this product (same ingredients as Robitussin) until I worked on a Navy Hospital Ward and had a cough that was so annoying that one of the Doctors ordered the Corpsman to give me a dose of this. STOPPED THAT COUGH DEAD!!! Have used this since--and the Equate brand is every bit as effective as the name brand, and lets me keep a little extra money for other necessities.
