I love Elf on the Shelf! It's cute and I was so ready to start this tradition with my son. I do want to accept that I didn't think it would be a struggle to get him do certain things and stay in place. I honestly thought it had some type of wire inside in order for him to place his arms and legs in certain places to do the things he does. I do suggest using pipe cleaners to improve the ability in his body.

We gave my granddaughter the girl elf last year, and she somehow lost the hat, so we bought her this replacement (now she has two) and then I made a felt Santa hat for the first one, so now Sparkle and Sprinkle are very happy! She finds them in different areas of the house and is so happy with both her elves!
