Transitioning to Wellness® Simple It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness Simple each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness Simple by day 7. This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing dogs over one year old as puppies and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements. Determining Feeding Portions (based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup) Divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times and feed Wellness Simple wet food in combination, whenever possible, to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. Nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing, but be sure to give your dog plenty of love, exercise and see your veterinarian regularly! Dogs over 125 lbs: Add ?? cup per additional 10 lbs. Combination Feeding: If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount fed by 1/3 cup for every 6 oz of wet food.

Great for weight loss
I switched to this food after the Vet telling me my Labrador needed to lose some weight, due to it affecting her joints. In a week and half of her on this food, she has already lost 3 pounds! Seems to be helping.
After transitioning my dog from his old food to this one, I must say that this is much easier for him to digest and seems to help with his allergies. He really likes it !!! I purchased 2 cases of the canned to mix with the dry but the canned is wayyy too soft and mushy and gave him diarrhea so I don't recommend the canned but the dry is good, so far.

This Wellness Simple Dog Brand is BEST!! I have a bluenose pitbull who has a lot of skin allergies. This is the only food that really helped with her skin issues. You will see results immediately. Just as a bonus benefit, I recommend to add about a tablespoon of coconut oil to the food. This will definitely help your dogs coat!
