Radar Dimax AS-8 All Season 235/45R17 97W XL Passenger Tire

I put these tires on a Pacifica. Installing the tires on the rim took a little extra than most. I had one an 1/8" out of round, but that's pretty normal. It won't balance correctly at first. The trick is to ride it 50-100 miles in 80 degree or better heat and rebalance. You'll find it'll come out if it's out of roundness and balance just fine 95% of the time. Simple Tire was quick to get the tires at a very good price. Tires are smooth and quiet. I'm anxious to find out the tire wear; time will tell.

I was convinced that we don't have to pay "retail" for things like good tires when I stumbled across the Walmart site and was surprised to see "affordable" tires with excellent ratings. I have a Volvo C70 T5 that has had issues with "chewing" up tires and was tired of paying nearly $200 per tire for replacements. I ordered the Radar because it was the most inexpensive tire with very good comments and reviews. I am not disappointed. These tires are much more smooth than the Michelin's I had on before. I'm not a tire expert so I cannot say they are better tires than Michelin but I do know what I feel when I drive and how they handle. I will definitely be getting more of them.
