FEEDING FOR ADULT MAINTENANCE It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat “free choice” throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat’s weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding an appropriate Pro Plan kitten formula. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Alright, Purina ProPlan is an expensive pet product. It is the top tier food made by Purina. The food is excellent quality: I know this because the litter box doesn't fill up in a day. My cats do not leave a morsel in the bowl. Their coats are shiny. They have boundless energy. Good quality food makes for a healthy pet.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I started my cat on Pro Plan when she was a kitten. Wet food for kitten, added kitten kibble chicken and rice and then on to adult chicken and rice. She's healthy and her coat is shiney. Love this product!

I have two kitties and they just turned one year old, so it was time to switch them from Purina Kitten to Purina Adult. They love chicken and the switch was easy. My cats do occasionally have sensitive stomachs, but I slowly mixed the foods over the course of a week and they did great! No vomiting or diarrhea. They love this food
