"Easy to install" RV landing leg not so easy.
Description says "Easy to install". It should be, but due to manufacturing tolerance errors, it was anything but easy. Photo appeared identical to item needed, however upon attempting to install, discovered external dimensions were approximately 1/16" to 1/8" too large and strut would not fit between the mounting plate and bolt. Bolt holes had to be drilled larger, both on upper and lower bolts. Then when attempting to mount, tabs were too close together on strut so it would not fit between the upper and lower detents. I had to use a grinder to reduce the distance between the mounts to make it fit. Once I finally got it in place and bolts tightened, it worked fine. Lippert needs to hold tolerances closer so the purchaser can install without having to modify anything.
