Egyptian Rosewood Oud - Oval Mother Of Pearl

Egyptian oud with classic tear drop shape and bowl bottom that has 11 nylon strings and fixed hard wood bridge. The body and neck are made from mahogany and rosewood and have a stunning shiny finish. Its soundboard is made from spruce wood and it has three oval shaped sound holes, 1 under strings and 2 on the sides. Each sound hole has a pretty mother of pearl and ebony design around edge. Sound board also includes pick guard to prevent scratching instrument. The decorations can vary from those photographed. This item includes a nylon gig bag, pick and owners guide. There are multiple tuning options for instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: DGADGC. This oud has a range of 3 octaves.
