Educational Insights The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game, Preschool Board Game, Kids Ages 3+

I received this toy and was very pleasantly surprised!! First of all, the box that the game comes in is very cute and VERY sturdy! I've purchased other games and found that the boxes can tend to be a little flimsy but not this one! I'm a pediatric occupational therapist so I played this with a couple of my pre school kids and they LOVED it! The concept is easy to grasp and understand, the games pieces are also very well made and easy to use. Fine motor coordination is such an important skill to have especially pre school children who are starting to write so I LOVED the "squirrel squeezer"!! It is a plastic squirrel fashioned into a pair of tweezers and requires the player to pick up their "acorn" and place on their game piece. What a great way to have children utilize and increase this skill and also have a BLAST doing it! I really like this game and plan to use it often!!

My family is big on games. Any kind of game is good, but ones where our 3 and 4 year old can play, are especially good. This game is excellent for children. Right off the bat, my kids were excited about the tiny acorns. The squirrel tweezers are really cool too, and are great for little hands. My son still has a hard time with them, but luckily, they aren't required. PROS: There is no money, no cards to read, nothing too complicated for toddlers. It is fun for even adults The box that the game comes in, is part of the board. It's a learning game. It teaches kids colors, and decision making. It is really easy to figure out. We didn't even need the instructions CONS: The acorns are extremely small. They will probably get lost easily. Also, would not recommend for anyone who has children that put things in their mouth. It's a fun game to play once a month, maybe. My kids got bored really fast. (May not be the case for everyone) Overall, it is great for the value. If you are big into games, and want something your kids can play together, or something you can play with your kids; I would recommend this.
