Great Water Pump!!!

Installed this pump on our '77 Vette's original engine in 2016 when we installed Edelbrock's E-Street heads and Performer intake. The engine has never overheated, even though because of a small coolant leak, sometimes the radiator was only half full. The only issue is that the back of the pump is very close to the timing chain cover (approx. 1/8") which means that only a stock style stamped timing cover is probably the only type that can be used. Otherwise, no issues with this excellent water pump!

Great pump "But"

Ok here we go, this is a great pump, but this is my second pump. The first pump only lasted 2 1/2 years on a car that get driven in the summer time only with maybe 1,000 mile per year. The first pump leaked from the weep hole. I also read on some forums there was some problems in a 2011 product run. Who knows... I do have some friends that use this model without a problem. So this second 2014 edel 8812 is running great so far. I guess I just had a bad one. Oh the first one was out of warranty so it was a loss to me.
