Eastwood 18 lb Vibratory Tumbler

So far this has been the best tool that we've found to remove rust, corrosion, and light paint. Although a brushwheel might be quicker if you really need one bolt, this thing is a lifesaver if you have a 100 to do. The green media works good for removing the heavy stuff and giving the hardware a clean, dull finish. The corn cob media takes it to the next step to give it a high polished finish. We've also used it on aluminum and galvanized hardware, and works great. **I would suggest to add to this is to add in a timer so that the machine can turn itself off after 8 hrs. We purchased a simple 3 prong timer to solve this minor issue. Also the shutoff clamp doesn't work the greatest, so I swapped the drain nipple with the cap plug on the top of the bowl. The green media likes to get caught and stuck in the drain nipple. May consider a solution for that in the future models. Great machine though!! Saves hours of manual cleaning!!

Had mine for a few years now and yes I was concerned with all the negative comments about them. I retstore muscle cars and trucks , put thousands of nuts and bolts through the tumbler and had great results. I think the key is not to over load and leave it on the floor so there's no chance of it falling off the bench. I use the speed clean as well . The hardware comes out looking like new. Just need to find some more of eastwoods speed clean , can't seem to find it on their web site anymore. Hope this helps, Scott long time customer
