I'm so happy with my string mower. I have some large brush and Japanese bamboo in my yard And my string mower cut through it so easily I am so pleased with the result and going to get a lot of uses out of this product also, one of the strings broke off the mower and replacement was so easy some brush got caught in the bottom tray of the mower, but disassemble to remove debris was Quick and easy

Excellent Mower for the price-Highly recommended!

I purchased the Walk Behind String Mower to deal with thick weeds that boarder an irrigation canal in hopes that it was easy to maneuver. The mower was very easy to put together out of the box. It started immediately and ran perfectly with only a couple of pulls the very first time. The engine is strong and actually not as loud as I expected. I did have to repair the shut off switch due to the wire being broken in transit (very easy fix). The mower comes with a small pack of twine to get started. I found that if you are in need of cutting very thick weed patches, the twine doesn't last very long, so if you have a lot of work, you will need to buy some additional twine. The mower is a work horse and runs very smoothly cutting through some very thick brush. It's very lightweight and maneuvers easily. It worked perfectly to cut at angles and down a slight incline into the irrigation canal quickly clearing all the vegetation. Yes for safety it says you should not cut at an incline, however the mower is lightweight enough you can control it easily on small inclines. If you have a large area to work on, keep your fuel can close. While it runs strong and is very reliable, it uses a fair amount of gas. No complaints, just ensuring that other buyers plan ahead. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and the quality of the mower. My only desire would be to have a much stronger option for twine that doesn't break down as quickly when cutting larger weeds. You can't go wrong with the mower and will be very pleased at it's durability.

Delivered with no damage and very well packaged. Very easy and clear instructions and the best part was one pull and it started right up. I am on two acres backed up to tall Johnson grass, and not a match for the this mower. I took me awhile to learn how to maneuver this beast of a machine. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
