I avoid using chemicals so this tool is just what I needed to dig out those stubborn weeds that resisted my bare hand extraction method. Sometimes you just need to break the roots a bit to loosen the weed. Initially I thought it was too big since I had a smaller one years ago, but I actually like the heft now.

My favorite tool for getting weeds out of the lawn. Very effective on getting those unwanted plants out that have long root systems. Has a long enough handle that you get some good leverage after inserting the end into the ground. I only wish it were longer, so I didn't have to bend over as far to use it.
