This 61 year old lady (me) assembled this alone in about 90 minutes; and it only took that long because I was watching tv at the same time. The parts were easily marked. Instructions were clear. As seen in the photo there is a small gap on one side. This does not impede the operation of the drawers. I've got light weight pajama type items in the top drawers; t-shirts, leggings in the middle two and pants and jeans in the bottom drawers. This unit works well for what it's made for.
