Using these 9v batteries makes me feel good about myself. I HATE throwing used up batteries of any type (AA, AAA, C, D, etc) into our landfills. That's why I've used rechargeables whenever practical or possible. I'll continue to use disposables in my Smoke\CO2 alarms, as they should be replaced yearly, otherwise it'll be these reasonably priced Lithium Ion's. BTW, you'll need a way to recharge.
