Great for African Soft Fured Rat

I switched from Mazuri's 6F Breeder formula to the standard rat and mouse diet on all of my ASF colonies and I'm not going back. My production rates have nearly doubled and my grow out times have decreased almost 70% due to the higher protein content. Upfront, sure this food costs a bit more per pound, but once you factor in how fast they grow out, it's cheaper to feed this for a month and a half than it is to feed 6F for 4 months. I produce more, faster , at a lower cost on a quality diet....only con, it doesn't come in a 50 pound bag.

Provides sustenance but not fattening

We've had our rats subsist on this brand for 5 years. It is healthy enough to keep them fit, but it isn't so rich that the rats overeat on this. We can leave the pellets in the cage and let the rats eat at their own pace. I'm sure that this is boring every day, so we supplement with treats that get the rats excited.
