DreamLine Single DLT-113442 Threshold Shower Base 34 Inch D x 42 Inch with Center Drain Base. - The DreamLine SlimLine single threshold shower base may be used in a custom shower project or combined with DreamLine Shower Doors for a complete shower installation or tub-to-shower replacement project. The modern shower bases (also referred to as shower receptors, shower trays or shower floors) have a low profile design for a clean polished look. DreamLine shower bases deliver a smart alternative to the time and cost involved with custom tile, with a product that is easy-to-install and an excellent value. Made of attractive high gloss Acrylic/ABS materials, the bases are fiberglass reinforced for durability. Each single threshold shower base comes standard with a slip-resistant textured floor pattern, 3-side integrated tile flanges and an opening ready for a standard compression fitting drain. DreamLine offers a collection of cUPC certified low profile shower bases. These shower trays are cUPC certified, which affirms they are in compliance with applicable American and Canadian codes and standards.

Easy to install and solid to stand on.
This is a good solid shower base. It was generally square and straight although the front edge was a bit bowed out. It doesn't come with a drain so keep that in mind. Instructions are a bit vague especially regarding how much mortar to set underneath the base.

Beautiful, Sturdy, Heavy, Solid. It has no give to it when stepped on, is very shiny and sleek looking, and the 36" feels HUGE compared to our old 22" wide tub/shower. One thing we did though, was to add some little bar magnets in about four places along the inside threshold of the base. Then we glued some small circle magnets to the outside of our shower curtain liner. That way, when we shower, the force of the water does not push the curtain out, letting water drip all over the floor. The magnets are very lightweight, so even when you open the curtain you forget they are there. Yet they help hold the curtain inside the base since the threshold is less than 2" deep. This eliminates the need for shower doors, which I hate. Overall, it looks beautiful, works great, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to redo a shower.
