Great quick messaging phone

I got this phone today as a replacement for my Pantech Renue. I used to own the first LG Xpression. So, when I bought this phone, it was not totally new to me. I like the blue color and how the buttons are spaced more widely apart than on the previous Xpression. The physical appearance of the interface looks much nicer than on the first generation of this device. The speaker volume is alright. It is not the best, but it will work okay. I like how LG got rid of the Play Music command on this generation of the phone. It did not work properly on the red Xpression. This phone was easy to set up and I like the fact that it does not require a data plan. LG did well with redesigning the plastic case of this phone. It is much easier to hold in the hand and it does not feel like you are going to drop it. The battery life is pretty good. I am not a heavy talker, texter, or web surfer. So, the battery lasts a few days for me. All in all, I love this phone and I recommend it to anyone who wants a quick messaging phone.

...... a near perfect Basic Phone

............... in my day-to-day routine I have no use for Facebook and Tweets, photo and video capture, or movie watching, etc. though those options are there for me on this phone if I wish to simply turn them on. I needed a basic phone for calls in and out, and this fine phone does a real nice job, is sized right, with a long lasting battery. The $43. price made me smile........... it was a great choice for me.

Good Basic Phone

The accidental hang up issue, when you answer/make a call once connected, press the lock at the top of the phone. You will avoid that issue. Phone has an easy voice system, press and hold the center button below the display. The phone will go into voice command mode. Simply state, "call smith" or "messages" basic feature but nice for hands free states.
