Heat shrink labels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grabbed some heat shrink labels to try out for work, these made the job easier to keep track of cable identification. Easy to use with the rhino label maker. Would recommend them to other electricians.

Love it but...

I love the Rhino 6K for all the functions it does and with the heat shrink tubing, labeling cables has become so much nicer in appearance. However, on the 1/4" (haven't had to use 3/8 or 1/2 yet) tubing, the print has been disappearing when the heat gun treatment is done. It's about a 50/50 shot so far. The heat shrink itself stays intact but the print may or may not stay.

I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with the 1/4" IND Heat Shrink Tubes. Based on what you have described it sounds like that is a faulty cartridge. Intentionally not useable with older model labeler

I examined this product carefully in hopes that it would work with my old Rhino Pro1000. The size and shape of the cartridge is exactly the same as the cartridge that fits the Pro1000. The only difference is the two key slots on the bottom edge of the cartridge. They are intentionally different by about 1/8" Just enough to throw off the geometry and cause the cartridge to not fit. Utterly frustrating, especially at the price I paid for this useless cartridge. Also, not that it matters, but the selection box to choose color options is not obvious at all. I had to look for it...after I received a color I wasn't expecting.

Unfortunately, the Rhino Pro 1000 is an obsolete model and required the old model of the IND Label Cartridges. The new cartridges will not fit the older Rhino printers as they have been redesigned to fit the current Rhino printer models.
