I purchased the Kero World Duraheat World Marketing 23,000-BTU Convection Heater on 8/21/2024. I assembled and operated it on 1/5/2025. Assembly is direct and easy, although the heater would be heavy for some. Assembly is less than 15 minutes. I followed the directions to the "T". Good kerosene is stressed. I did. After filling, 60 minute wait time before ignition is stressed and everytime on a full refill. Not necessary on a top-off. It comes with a siphon pump to transfer the kerosene from the container to the heater tank. That part is so great. No messes. I started with a gallon, which will fill it a little below full. A gallon is sufficient to fill. Ignition is easy with the electronic ignition. Matches can also be used but with the batteries included, it's not necessary. I let it burn off a little before bringing it inside. I chose to get some cement pavers to set it on. The heater is in a small area for me so I opened a vent to release any needed excess burn off. The "wick adjustment knob" is sensitive, so pay attention to this. If used correctly, you won't freeze when the electricity goes out. My suggestion is to buy one now. I don't expect prices on anything to go down soon.
