Great product surprised me!!

Got new hood hinges for an old pickup im working on. They came with a flat black edp protective coating on them to prevent rusting. Well, I used a glossy black engine paint on them. They looked better. Then i decided to try the DupliColor 1K Clear Extreme Pearl Finish over the black. WOWW. THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL. At that instant, I decided that alot more than just the hinges under the hood were gonna get the same treatment.

I'm not professional but figured out, a clean surface is key to any decent paint job. Only problem I had and was my fault was no spraying clear coat thick enough. Id apply many light coats rather than a couple of think coats. But gotta be careful spraying thick because it will have runs if too heavy. Paint in dry conditions no humid weather. Air line water separator is a good idea. Fill and drain air tank a couple of times before to get all the moisture out possible. Prep work is what makes or breaks a paint job. Bodywork is the hardest, nasty job I've ever attempted. A flawless paint job is really a work of art.
