Simple Inexpensive A/C Cover

Fits well over a standard outside A/C unit. I had one of these same covers for many years and it finally got old enough to become brittle and developed holes. This new one is just as good. I clean out the leaves inside my unit and wash and wax the outside of it before covering it. I then place a small block of wood on the top of the A/C unit under the cover to form a peak in the plastic so that rain and snow run off of the cover instead of remaining on top of it. Remember to turn off the electricity to the unit so that it isn't turned on accidentally.
