For my needs the chair is perfect. It is used only in the house as an "assistant" while doing chores, and as seating for outdoor events. I use it to transport loads of laundry or groceries, and to sit in when cleaning the fridge and doing other "bend over" chores. After back surgery it enabled me a fuller range of actions earlier.

Great chair.

I purchased this transfer chair so I could take my best friend on vacation, she is in stage 4 cancer and weakens easily. Thought this would be helpful at the airport and going to see the sites of the area, which it was. Very easy to fold up and put in the trunk of the car and have it out and ready at the airport so we didn't have to wait for them to bring one. It truly was a blessing being able to pick her up and take her on a vacation, maybe one of her last. She didn't expect it, which made me happy that I could do this for her. It was inexpensive and very well made. Will be able to have it on hand to take future trips with my older friends that may have a hard time getting around, and for me when I might need it. It came two days after I ordered it, even though it stated it wouldn't be delivered for 10 days. Not sure about other people, Wal-Mart has been very good to me when I order things online and getting my order delivered sooner then expected. Am very happy with this purchase.
