I wish I knew the plastic gripping times were so fragile. I might have continued my search for one inch brass grommets with a setter. These will work well enough

This product works well and looks great, especially 4 ft above your head, you'd never know they were plastic. The only difficult part was deciding how far apart to space them, but that was minor.
