Great portable AC option

This portable AC is more than enough to cool and dehumidify a tropical bedroom like mine in the summer. It has very good instructions and some nice YouTube videos showing installation and functions. It is pretty quiet for a unit that is sitting in the same room, and is subjectively only a little louder than the Mitsubishi split AC units I have in other rooms. I love the Bluetooth connection to my mobile phone so I can adjust settings and times. It comes with handy connectors for double hung windows. Since I have casement windows (with a crank), I bought a 1/4 inch sheet of Plexiglass at Walmart and a friend with a portable saw cut it to fit the window above the connector, which we placed at the bottom of the window. I'm very pleased with it after one week of use.

Our air conditioner broke during the peak of Arizona summer heat. I work from home so we needed a temporary air conditioning unit until our whole house AC could be fixed. I moved my office to the master, where this little unit worked great ! It was easy to install with the included window insert, foam and tape . I closed the doors of the master to limit the space and used the DREO to keep it at a chill 72 degrees even though outside temps were above 102 degrees. This unit easily kept the master bedroom and bath cool. I liked the quiet mode which I used during conference calls and at night. This unit was a lifesaver!
