Dream Apparel Leather Motorcycle Jacket for Men Moto Riding Classic Biker Jacket with Removable Liner Gray

Ok, this is my second attempt at buying this jacket, but it's worth the effort. Let's break it down into pros and cons. Pros: this jacket is HEAVY, high quality cowhide leather with super heavy duty YKK zippers throughout... meaning it's designed to last for forever. It's a rich brown, somewhere in between caramel and chocolate brown, which is a very unique look for a biker jacket, and the tanning quality is absolutely gorgeous. The liner is a decent weight, and zips out for either warmer weather use or so you can fit an insulated hoodie underneath for those frigid rides (at least that's my plan). The conceal carry pockets are a good size for their intended purpose, and have heavy duty snaps. And best of all? All this comes for about a third of the price of an almost identical jacket sold by a major brand from Milwaukee... definitely the deal of the day! Oh and, shipping was blazing fast...no complaints there! Cons: I can only think of one, the sizing chart. Following the measurement instructions given, this chart determined that my 6' 1", 250lb frame has a 48" chest (it's actually larger than that, but I went with their measurement) and 37" long arms, and needed a size 44 (which is claimed to fit a 49" chest). Well, I was barely able to squeeze into it... the sleeves were a good inch and a half short, and zipping it up was impossible even with the side lace gussets fully loosened. I reordered a size 48 (53" chest, 38" sleeves), and it's still a little snug...which I'm ok with, because riding leathers are supposed to be a bit on the tight side. It fits loose enough to zip fairly easily, the sleeves are just long enough (I'd like them to be a half inch or so longer, but c'est la vie), and with the liner out there's enough room for my hoodie...but just barely. If I was using it as a fashion statement instead of riding gear? I'd go even larger, and get a size 52...a full FOUR SIZES bigger than the chart recommended. Keep this in mind when ordering. Overall, this deal can't be beat. Whether you want classic black, brown or grey, I definitely recommend grabbing one ASAP, while they're still in stock. I mean seriously, where else can you get a high quality, heavy weight riding jacket made from the most buttery feeling leather imaginable, for under $100? I'm calling this a win!
