The completely original silicone transistor in this pedal was designed by Stan Cotey at Fender. Silicone based transistors create a different kind of fuzz than their germanium counterparts. In comparison, this transistor gives you a wide range of sound, from classic fuzz to modern, velcro-ish tone. The silicone design is a bit of a throwback to classic 60's builds.

Intricate Voicing Controls
The silicone circuit's a great place to start, but having the ability to control the intricate workings of that circuit makes all the difference. The Pelt fuzz pedal comes with a Bloom control to change the texture and attack of the fuzz from soft to hard. It also has Mid and Thick switches to add or subtract whatever additional tone the sound is lacking in that moment. The Pelt will even respond to a change in guitar volume, creating a smaller, cleaner tone with a decrease in volume.  

Stage-Ready Fender Construction
