The B004-DUA4-K-R is a 4-Port DVI/USB KVM Switch with audio and USB 2.0 peripheral sharing. It allows you to access, control, boot and reboot four computers from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse, and monitor. Switching between connected computers is quick and simple using keyboard hotkeys or pushbuttons. An independent audio/mic and USB peripheral switching function allows for an uninterrupted experience. A computer can be printing on a printer connected to one of the USB 2.0 peripheral ports, while you listen to audio from and access another computer; all at the same time.
The B004-DUA4-K-R uses DVI-I technology, allowing for the transmission of a digital (up to 1920 x 1200) or analog (up to 2048 x 1536) signal. A DVI to VGA adapter, such as Tripp Lite's P126-000, is required for conversion to an analog monitor. Whichever you use, full time DDC support provides the necessary EDID information required for optimal video performance on Windows 7 and other operating systems. Supports USB Dynamic Device Mapping (DDM). Compatible with all major operating systems.

Works for me
I replaced an older KVM that had PS2 connectors with this USB model. I stuck with Tripp-lite because the brand has proven reliable. The upgrade went smoothly and I have been using it for a few days. It has the features that I need. I currently am not using the audio options.

Only a few days of use so far, but so good!
So far I must say, no bugs I am used to seeing on average KVMs. The price is fair for the market, I wish I could have had the same model but dual DVI. The dual DVI screen setup alone, would deserve a 5 star rating. Switching is seamless and fast, so far has not bugged on me. Cables are thick and heavy, but to be expected for a nicely insulated cord. Extra peripheral USB devices can be connected and shared, but also set to be used on one PC only. Same can be done for audio. Great shortcut keys to perform the different options and operations to switch between PC's pr dedicating usage of devices on one PC only. Nicely placed frontal press-buttons to switch between PCs, box is small and does not take much desk space. Mine resides between two LCD monitors. However, I would have much liked to see a rack mount bracket upgrade as an optional, but only at fair price, I do not call 40-50$ a fair deal on brackets and see it all too often from different manufacturers. All in all, still very satisfied, dual-DVI at fair price would be nice to see on the market next.
