Very good product, for beginners too.

Like the Dap painters putty, I am a beginner, I briefly worked in constructions of mobil home and RVs, triming the rooms and such wish our putty for that would have been as great as Dap.

Hardens if not used, can't revive it.

I had no problem using it fresh, but when it aged for a year in the properly sealed original container, it hardened and cannot be worked easily. I wish the manufacturer would recommend a solvent to soften the putty. Is paint thinner a good solvent?

Works good for nail holes

The print is so small, it's difficult to read, so I didn't realize this stuff doesn't harden until I had done the work. I did a large section around the top edge of my shower stall, which I'm going to need to dig out the layer of plumbers putty. I need patch repair compound that hardens for this job. I'm only taking 1 star off since it does work good on nail and screw holes as the label recommends. I just figured if it works for nail holes, it should work for patch work too. My bad, as I should have done some research before using it.
