If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland, cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus), persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema. When using this product, do not use more than directed. Stop use and ask a doctor if: you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless, symptoms do not improve within 7 days or occur with a fever, cough persists for more than 7 days, comes back or occurs with a fever, rash or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Quick relief
I recently used DayQuil Kids on my daughter when she came down with a bad cold, and I was really impressed with how well it worked! She had a nasty cough, congestion, and a low-grade fever, and within about 30 minutes of taking it, she seemed much more comfortable. I gave her the recommended dosage for her age, and it helped keep her symptoms under control for several hours without making her drowsy. The taste was also a huge plus—she can be picky about medicine, but she took this without any fuss. I love that it provides relief without any added dyes or unnecessary ingredients. It made such a difference in her comfort level, and I'll definitely be keeping a bottle on hand for future colds. Highly recommend!
