I use these to extend the life and comfort fit of my new shoes by several months. I do *not* take out the factory insole to insert these in brand new shoes (not old — there would be possible bacteria smell!), I just trim them down about a half size smaller and slip them in. It feels wonderful when done, and is extremely kind on my ankles, knees, and hips.

Awesome
As a woman, I was not impressed with the selection of shoe insoles so I took a chance on these men's ones and boy are they awesome. I'm on my feet on concrete 8 hours a day and would come home with achy knees, feet, and sore leg muscles. I've only used these for a few days and there's already a huge difference. I'm much less fatigued and haven't had any knee pain which is amazing.
