matched with any gain laundry detergents and dryer sheets its smells sooooo amazing. you will need some kind of sented laundry soaps tide original is good but the cheaper soaps with this is smeels very off or weird it definity doesnt have its supposed to smell to it so with all the beeds from downy you will want to use a sented laundry soap of some kind.

I never had issues with detergents irritating my skin until recently. (I'm 36, female) Prior to purchasing, I first received a free sample of this product from PinchMe.com. After using the sample of the Downy Light, I was like “Oh wow!” “I have to buy this!” 😍 In my opinion, it is WAY OVERPRICED, BUT I do think it does not take a ton of these in a big load to get that fresh smell. These don't seem to irritate my skin (as long as I don't use a lot). I have purchased them twice and I like this smell. I currently pair with the All with Oxi clean detergent. It doesn't require this step but, I always fill and allow them to resolve prior to adding clothes. The scent doesn't last very long afterwards (but it may be because I use very little, but I can smell it right after and a few days later). They work well for my husband's work clothes and for our animals. I have used them for our towels as well and they seem to work great for those too.
