Dow Corning 795BL Black 795 Silicone Building Sealant - Cartridge

Dow Corning 795 is a one part, medium modulus, neutral cure silicone formulation designed for use in structural and non structural glazing of glass, metal, and plastic, as well as for adhering stiffeners to building panels and for weatherproofing applications, including the perimeter sealing of doors and windows. Once cured, it forms a durable and flexible silicone rubber building joint seal that can accommodate ±50% joint movement in properly designed joints. This sealant is virtually unaffected by harsh environmental conditions such as sunlight, rain, sleet, snow, ultraviolet radiation, atmospheric contamination, ozone, and extreme temperatures. As a result, its joint performance remains consistent even with aging or prolonged exposure to weather. However, Dow Corning 795 should not be applied to building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents, nor should it be used in totally confined spaces. It must not be applied to frost laden or wet surfaces, or to any surface that is in direct contact with food. Users are advised to consult the cartridge label and the Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations and application guidelines. Comparable sealants to Dow Corning 795 include CRL 95 C, Dow Corning 995 and 791, GE Oilproof 2000 and Ultra Glaze SSG 4000, Tremco Spectrum 2 and Spectrum 3, Pecora 864 and 895, Sonneborn Omni Seal, and Sika Sikas WS95.
