Great Buy!

If you're looking to learn ukulele, you just can't go wrong with this one. the fit and finish is far above the modest price, the tuners are precise, the built in tuner much appreciated, and the electronics sound clear on my Fender Acoustasonic 90 amplifier. The included extra strings, padded bag, strap, and lessons make this package a grand slam. I can't keep my hands off of it!! I purchased this at retail price and my review is strictly my own impressions. Note: Strap shown in photo is different from the one included.

Good buy for the money!

I think this is a very nice tenor uke for the price! Very good for a novice or even as a backup or travel instrument for the more experienced player. It's of decent quality. Not bad tuning machines whose back side is got a clear cover so you can see the gears but keep junk out. The pre-amp/tuner seems to work fine. Strap buttons already installed. There is a nice supply of things for the new player. The strap is fairly small yet functional. An extra set of decent strings. 4 plastic picks in 2 different sizes. A cleaning cloth and two 2032 batteries for the pre-amp. Minor issues: my frets can stand a minor touch up, as they aren't perfectly smooth on the ends. But, they seem properly placed and the action is good. The picks are ok, and a personal preference. I prefer quality felt picks on the nylon strings of a uke. All in all, a very good buy for the money!
