Dometic CF25 12V Electric Powered Cooler, Fridge Freezer

I bought this fridge 9 summers ago. I've had to take it once to be repaired (a short - needed to be re-soddered). But considering that I pack this in my jeep where it comes everywhere all summer long... including when I go 4 wheeling... I'm very impressed with how it's performed and how reliable it's been. Especially when you think that it's been running pretty much 24/7 every summer (I just leave it in my jeep). I've used it both as a freezer and a fridge, although it's mostly used as a fridge. My only complaint is that it's a touch small. If I were to get a bigger one, I'd probably go with a 45L one. But for one/two people it's fine. I couldn't imagine camping/travelling without it. Will absolutely buy another Dometic when I decide to get a bigger fridge. And yes I know this reads like a paid ad. It's not. I live in the middle of nowhere in Northern Canada and have just been very very impressed with this so far.

We bought this to use as a fridge on our sailboat. While it was a 40' boat, it was old and sparse. This was going to be our fridge. Moved to a bigger boat with full systems and kept this until we squared things away. Our current freezer needs work so will convert that to a fridge and use this as a freezer. This box is amazing. Ice cream stays hard even in tropical weather. Best investment made! Love the dual power modes and the switching is perfect. Should this one ever die beyond repair, we won't hesitate to get another. Well worth the money.
