Have to turn bottle upside-down using gravity for water to flow from bottle to plastic bowl part so can not fill bowl much without spilling water. Can still carry water...then maybe detach plastic top and pour water into bowl part (instead of pressing button as designed). It's probably okay as designed for tiny dogs/cats or a dog that only wants a few laps. Also, it looked opened before when arrived. Maybe worth $3/4
