Unfortunately I can't use dawn dish soap any longer. The new fragrance is bad enough that it gives me headaches. I have washed dishes by hand for the last 23 years, and always used original dawn. The fragrance is strong enough that it registers on the my air quality monitor. Our house typically stays between 150-600 parts per billion measures VOCs. I tried to use it today for some cleaning, and the VOCs tripled from 560 ppb to 1780 ppb just while later. It has remained elevated for three hours so far. The old recipe did have some fragrance, but it wasn't nearly so bad.

New scent ignites my sensitivities. The scent is very offensive to me. I don't know what it is about this scent, but it really scared me when I smelled it. It might even be like anaphylactic shock level sensitivities. I know i'm sensitive to smells, and I know what happens when I come across something that my body reacts to. This scent is one of them all.I did was pour a couple drops to soak.Some bowls from spaghetti sauce and the scent triggered my panic attack because it brought me back to a time when I had anaphylactic shock from a coworker's perfume. Not everyone is as sensitive as I am.I understand that, but for me, I will never be using this again.I have to throw it away.I can't even let my husband use it.Because if i'm around, it takes my breath literally and makes my heart beat really fast.It's a very scary situation.
