I am replacing a Sharp Carousel I purchased, used, from a friend. I have had it for 30 yrs. and it still worked perfectly, but the door seal was breaking away from the door. So I wanted to stay with the Sharp brand. This new one is great. Easy to use and attractive in appearance. I'm very happy with this microwave.

The Last Sharp I had was 25 years old. The only problem I had with that was the door not opening. After 25 years, I think that's pretty good. It's more powerful than the old (the advancement of technology it is to be expected). It looks great. I love the 30 second feature. In the past, I'd stand by the microwave and keep checking, for example the melting butter. I wouldn't take a chance with any other brand with the positive history I've had all these years with the known. I would recommend this to everyone.
