Dog Back Brace - L'il Back Bracer - Medium

I'll try to be as helpful as possible. Honestly, if you are debating, don't waste the time, just get it!! Positives: I have been searching for a cure for Leah for some time now. She has been suffering with IVDD, and it's been heartbreaking for me to see her dragging along with her back legs. This back brace has been heaven sent!!! You have no idea how much it means to me. Leah was diagnosed in 2019, and I have been doing a lot of crate rest, heat, vitamins, and pain pills. She was starting to do better, but then relapsed badly and I have been researching for some time for the best option. I didn't want to do surgery because there is no guarantee, and I just didn't want to take that risk at her age. I wasn't too sure about sizing and didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping it back if it didn't fit, so I looked up the company and called them directly. I spoke to Victoria and she was super helpful. They have great customer service. She asked me to send her a picture of my measurement of Leah's back and to confirm I had the right size. We ordered the brace got it very quickly - within 3 days. I put it on Leah and she just stood there refusing to move. I was super frustrated, so I called back Victoria and she told me to put the brace on for a short periods of time and use treats to get her to move with it on. After a few tries she started getting used to it. Now when I put it on, it has become our ritual to reward her with a treat. She has started using those back legs and you would not believe my baby is walking again! For those of you who know what its like to have a dog with IVDD, you will not regret this! I may end up ordering another one for her. So happy I found this company. I can't guarantee this will work for everyone but it did for my baby. Negatives: The material is really nice and soft, but it collects hair. Since its black and my pups hair is light tan it shows pretty easily. I use a lint roller and it cleans up pretty quickly. It would be wonderful if they expanded the color options to gray or some other colors that don't show much. Other than that, I have no complaints.
