Product Description: A blood lancet is a small medical injection & puncture implement that contain a sterile steel needle commonly used for capillary blood sampling in laboratories, clinics, etc. These lancets are extremely sharp to ensure safe puncture on the skin and obtain blood specimens required for medical examinations.
One of the benefit of blood lancet is that the depth of skin penetration can be adjusted for various skin thicknesses with minimal discomfort for the patient with the tri-bevel ground needle. Every sturdy, ready to use manual blood lancet has an individual packing bag, which provided safe and convenient usage.
It is also commonly used by diabetics during blood glucose monitoring. These lancets have one side slightly straightened out that helps users easily spread out blood on their specimen glasses to safely collect blood samples.
Instructions for use:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
2. Swab your fingertip with an alcohol swab.
3. Select the fingertip where you will be obtaining the blood(it is best to aim slightly off the center of the fingertip).
4. Warm-up your hands prior to pricking your fingertip by rubbing them together rapidly and massaging to improve circulation.
5. Open the individual packing bag and take the lancet out.
6. Prick your finger.
7. Always use a disposable lancet - never reuse lancets.
