In between having a prescription retinoid, this was a great substitution. I usually use ax zone and Velton from my dermatologist. While I waited in between having a prescription retinoid, this was a great substitution. I usually use aczone and veltin from my dermatologist. This did a great job in drying out the pimples that were already there I don't know personally, if it did anything to help prevent them. I used it on and off not consistently for a month or two, but I will keep this in my cabinet for those stubborn pimples to dry out. Never really experienced excessive flaky or dryness of the skin.

This is the best acne product I've ever used it really works and does the job. You have to be faithful and use it appropriately and as directed and don't give up, you won't be disappointed. Also, use their products that they have for after you wash your face. They work as well and it's a good combination to maintain your skin. Don't use a lot of other products afterwards they just clogged your pores up that you're trying to clean out. Let the products do their job if you're trying to get clear skin.
