This hum-canceling two-piece pickup brings big, punchy sound to Fender Precision Bass style pickups. The DiMarzio DP122 Model P accurately reproduces the sound of your bass with added gain and solid tone.
DiMarzio Model P pickups cut through the band without sacrificing bottom-end power. Gutsy mid-range provides growl when the bass is pushed hard. Combine the DiMarzio Model P with a bridge position DiMarzio Model J™ and experience any tone from a tight mid-range punch to a warm bottom-end with bright, clear attack.
Tech Talk: Heavy sound with midrange emphasis. Aggressive sound designed to cut through dense tracks and loud situations. Note: This is a two-coil pickup. With the addition of a mini switch or push-pull pot, series / parallel switching is possible with hum canceling in both positions. However, coil cutting is not possible with this pickup because both coils must be "on" to hear all four strings.
Recommended For: Middle position (standard Fender Precision mounting).
