I boiled the water and soak the guard for the 73 seconds as required. It never got soft enough to mold my teeth. I tried 3 times, leaving the guard in the hot water longer and it never, ever got softed. It was hurting my teeth trying to bite into the form. I ended up driving to Walgreens and buying a box of 16 Walgreens brand ready to use dental guards that I had not seen available online. It took a minute to get comfortable with them and I have slept 2 night comfortably. I recomend those much better.
