The Neutralizing Pre-Wash is used for initial SoClean setup. It is important to use the Neutralizing Pre-Wash to hand-wash your PAP equipment before you connect your SoClean for the first time. The Pre-Wash is a fragrance-free, dye-free soap that neutralizes any odors and scents on your PAP equipment.

Put one capful of pre-wash into a gallon of water. Hand-wash your CPAP hose, mask and reservoir. Rinse thoroughly with water. Dry thoroughly.

At first when I purchased this item I thought it was pricy until I received it and realized it was larger than I thought. I was thinking it was as small as the sample sent with my so clean purchased. It only takes a small amount to clean the water container. This will last a long time since I wash the camber weekly more if needed.

Excellent cleansing product for resp. equipment
I use this Neutralizing Pre-wash for all my respiratory equipment that is new or does not fit in my So Clean machine (tubing). I find it to be very easy to use, minimal to no residual scent, and dries in a timely manner. It is so strong that I only need a drop or two for a good a good amount of suds.
